Better Writing
Almost everyone needs some help and advice to improve their writing skills.
Nearly all of us are confused by certain punctuation and have spellings that we never seem to get right. Better Writing is a free learning exercise designed for quick, easy access over the Corus e-Learning website. It helps you understand the different punctuation marks and know when and when not to use them. Correct spellings are vital if what we write is to appear professional, so topics on confusing pairs, double letters, the ‘I’ and ‘E’ rule and words ending in ‘E’ are all covered.
There are also handy, bite-sized exercises on how to improve your writing and compose memos and e-mails, as well as useful tips on letter and report writing.
This course works on the principle that ‘practice makes perfect’. While rules, advice and examples are available in every section, the main learning materials are interactive exercises that allow you to test and improve your writing and spelling skills.
Study time: 2hours
NBThe course will open in a new, 780 x 540 window.
