Remote visual inspection

Where machinery is indicating that there is something wrong it is often difficult to tell what the problem is. The experience of CNES technicians in using videoprobes places them in the best position to view inside boilers for scaling and blockages and other problems which could be related to worn or lose material on the inside of machinery.

Advantages of remote visual inspection include:

  • Provides a view inside machinery without the need to dismantle and reassemble thus eliminating commissioning and ‘running in’ problems of disturbed bearings
  • Aids in planning predictive maintenance
  • Facilitates timely ordering of new parts
  • Reduces down-time of operational machinery
  • Identifies problems before they deteriorate
  • Reduces costly manual inspections
