Metal cleanliness strongly influences the final mechanical properties of the product and is essential for the production of high quality aluminium products.
In order to maintain high quality aluminium, it is essential to control the level of inclusions and impurities. We offer a full range of equipment that measures on-line and off-line inclusions and the hydrogen level in molten aluminium. We also provide advice on improving the metal cleanliness of current operations. Where necessary, we make recommendations for improvement.
Our main equipment includes:

Limca II: an on-line measurement system for inclusions. It is a quantitative measurement of metal cleanliness.

Podfa: this semi quantitative method provides an understanding about the type and origin of inclusions present in the metal.

Alscan: measures hydrogen levels in molten aluminium.
