Foundry products

Corus designs and manufactures high conductivity copper castings within the weight range of a few kilos up to two tonnes.  Products produced are primarily used within the high temperature environments of metal processing industries, where material integrity and water cooling efficiency combine to provide excellent service reliability. 

Operational performance can be further enhanced by design technologies developed in partnership with Corus primary producers, which although iron and steel focused are bringing major cost reduction benefits throughout our client base.

Each product is bespoke to its particular customer and specific operating environment, with site data being combined with manufacturing and design experience to provide the most appropriate design solution. Continual improvement through post-service analysis is also used in the drive towards campaign life improvement and to ensure that product designs evolve in the face of ever changing operational demands.

From its UK base, Corus Foundry Products exports key products throughout Europe and beyond, with its accumulated manufacturing and design expertise helping these clients to reduce operating costs through improved plant availability.
