Corus' skilled engineers have the ability to design, manufacture and provide full project management of bridge building. CNES' portfolio includes the design and manufacture of a pedestrian and cycle crossing over the Darlington and Saltburn railway line. The 77-metre long structure weighing 60 tonnes has provided vital links between housing, schools and local amenities in its area. CNES have also re-engineered the Hull North Road Bridge which is a rolling bascule bridge. This involved a multi disciplined management team to provide innovative engineering solutions. The expertise required in this programme included project management, project engineering, procurement, quantity surveying, programme planning and resource control, fitting and installation work and shot blast painting.
